The Best Enterprise Software Companies And CEOs To Work For In 2014
Every year Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) publishes their annual list of theGlobal 100 software leaders. The study’s home page provides key take-awaysand a link to the full study, which you can download for free here. PWC strives to create a fair and impartial index of the world’s most successful software companies, and it’s an excellent read. The most common request from readers is for recommendations of whichenterprise software companies are the best to work for. To answer that question in fairness and impartiality I’ve indexed today’s Glassdoor rankings for each company on this year’s PWC list. The percentage of employees who would recommend their employer to a friend and the percentage who approve of their CEO are included in the matrix below. Taken together these measures define the relative attractiveness of a given company as a potential employer. The following table is based on Glassdoor data from today, March 18, 2014. None of these companies are a current or previous clients, and I do not hold equity positions in any of them.
