Adriana “Andi” Karaboutis, chief information officer of Dell Inc., has her hands full.
Her biggest task right now: integrating technology assets from roughly eight of the 19 acquisitions Dell has made in the past few years. Culling duplicate technologies and figuring out what new technologies might be needed going forward are among her key responsibilities at the Round Rock, Texas, company, which went private last year as it seeks to pivot from PC maker to provider of enterprise hardware, software and services.
